KDE 3.4 has the following requirements:

Memory

• 40 - 150 MB free RAM (depends on the number of started applications)

Harddisc

• about 100 MB free harddisc space for the kde packages (ntfs partition required)

Software

• Win32 based operations system (Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP)
  note: Win9x os aren't tested yet, there are some reports that it will be run partially
• some package from the cygwin net distributions, see installation section for more informations.

Know-How

• a basic understanding of unix operation systems, the cygwin distribution and the KDE desktop environment.
